Cohen's 1st Haircut

The decision was made that Cohen finally needed to be taken in for his first haircut. As you can see by the before pictures it was a little out of control.

At first he wasn't too keen on this idea of a haircut...

but with the coaxing of some gold fish crackers we were back on track

Sometimes when he hears the water running he starts doing the same. This night he was running in circles (through the bedroom, into the bathroom and out into the hallway). The last picture if after he closed the door and thought he finally got rid of me...little did he know I knew my way around the house and figured I could catch him from the other direction!

Goofy Little Monkey

For whatever reason (maybe because he is a child of mine) Cohen loves to play his musical piano naked, but with socks on! For the longest time every night before he would get into the bath this was the routine. Can't really blame him right?

Wow!!!!

It has been a long time I know. To be honest I am not even sure what happened. The family has been great these days just busy. Work for both Clayton and I seems to be non-stop and Brody and Cohen are constantly on the go.

I will try to make the honest effort to stay more up to date with pictures and posts, but for now I will do a little catch up just to be sure we are in "real time" when I start my postings again.

Just like when Brody was his age Cohen loves to type at the computer. He sat there forever the other day just typing away. He thought it was really great when I put the wireless keyboard on the floor for him to play with!

Frederick Meijer Gardens Sept 09

We met the Schnurstein's over at Frederick Meijer Gardens on a beautiful day in September. The kids had a ton of fun and the parents even got to relax a little.

A boy and his chair

All it takes to entertain the kids is an $8.00 chair these days. We must have played with it for 2 hours and never stopped laughing. Needless to say though it was promptly put in the garage after this fun little session. I am sure you can see why by the pictures and video below!
