Cohen and I recently spent some time being sick. He had a cold and wasn't sleeping well at night and me...well I felt like I was dying. I had a terrible cold with horrible body aches (to the point my hair hurt) that later turned into the worst sinus infection my Dr. has ever seen. Lucky me!
We are still waiting on teeth. Nothing as of yet, but every few days we think he is teething, but nothing ever comes about. From what I hear the longer it takes the stronger they are.
Cohen has been given an official nickname. Outside of monkey (i.e. chunky monkey, drool monkey, stinky monkey). It started as kind of a joke. I have always said I chose my children's names based on ones that couldn't be changed or shortened. Not sure why, but that was part of my picking process. Inevitably Brody became Brod and Cohen has now become CoCo. He seems to really like it and it just kind of stuck.
Cohen has also reached the not so anticipated milestone of stranger anxiety. Although for him it is more of a not wanting Mommy to leave the room or not pay attention to him rather than being afraid of strangers. At first it started off in a cute way. I would go to pick him up from daycare and for the first time he noticed me when I cam in the room. He would smile and start bouncing up and down flapping his arms with excitement. How cute I thought. Not shortly after though he would get mad if I didn't run straight to him or sometimes when I put him down and start talking to someone else in the room. Lucky for me though as long as either Brody or Clayton is home they are usually able to distract him enough that he barely notices I walk out of the room.
I believe that is all for now. Off to come up with more things to talk about so we don't seem so boring.
